Big Brother Naija 10 Nigerian celebrities we would love to see on reality show
In 2010, celebrities including Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Emeka Ike, Muma Gee and Daddy Showkey battled for seven million naira prize on the celebrity edition of Gulder Ultimate Search, hosted by Genevieve Nnaij.
Over the years, there have been celebrity versions of the Big Brother reality show in countries like the U.S and the U.K.
To
be realistic, we don't expect a Nigerian version of 'Celebrity Big
Brother Naija' to feature A-list celebrities plotting against each other
or having dramatic diary sessions, but just in case it ever happens, we
have a wish list.
Here are 10 Nigerian celebrities we would love to see on the reality show :
1. Jim Iyke
With his sense of humour, entrepreneurial skill, acting
talent, and self-confidence that is often mistaken for arrogance, it
would be interesting to watch the actor live with strangers for at least
85 days.
2. Tonto Dikeh
Tonto
Dikeh has had her fair share of controversy in the entertainment
industry. She is dramatic, funny, and often seems like she doesn't give a
damn what people think about her.
She is also not against participating in reality shows; Tonto has an upcoming reality TV show titled "King Tonto."
3. Olamide
What's a reality show without a housemate who started from the 'bottom?'
The Nigerian rapper, Olamide, will bring a dash of drama, original slangs, new dance moves, and a motivating story to the show.
He would definitely be a favourite for his "realness."
4. Beverly Naya
Every reality show needs a housemate some viewers dislike for no good reason.
Naya
would probably lead a reclusive life in the house. Some viewers would
feel intimidated by her accent and demeanour, and clamour for her
eviction, but she would shockingly make it to finals.
It would also be interesting to watch Naya speak passionately about her 50 Shades of Black campaign and political views.
5. Davido
It would be engaging to watch OBO share his personal space with strangers for as long as a whooping 85 days.
He wouldn't miss an opportunity to remind his fellow housemates that he isn't on the show for the money.
Things would also definitely get dramatic as the singer is not one to hold back when people mess up.
At least, He would create more hits off his experience in the house; hits with epic shots at the other contestants.
6. Falz
Falz is such a likable and
funny celebrity that we think he would walk into the Big Brother house
like he always lived there and be friends with everyone immediately.
Nevertheless, he would occasionally initiate controversial conversations that would keep the housemates and viewers busy for days.
7. Odunlade Adekola
Imagine
Odunlade Adekola in the Big Brother house, entertaining housemates and
viewers, and generating worthy meme photos that will live longer than
his stay in the house.
He would probably be the calmest amongst them - chilling and observing everyone and situation.
8. D'banj
We already know how goofy and serious D'banj can be. It would be interesting to watch how his blunt sense of humour and communication skills would go down with the other housemates.
9. Alexx Ekubo
What's a reality show without a
handsome housemate for the contestants and viewers to drool over. Ekubo
will bring his natural charisma, fashion style and sense of humour to the show.
Also, we think that there's some great strategic thinking ability beneath his epic trolling skill.
10. Dorcas Shola Fapson
What is a reality show
without a bit of attitude and class. DSF will also bring her fashion
sense, liveliness, talent and good humour on the show.
Plus, we know she can stand up to bullies; a perfect trait for a potential housemate.
