Lil Wayne sues Birdman for USD51 milion, makes moves to leave Cash Money

 

A few days back, American rapper Lil Wayne threatened to leave Cash Money records and said he is taking Nicki Minaj and Drake along.
He has made good on his promise, not only did he file court documents to allow him leave the label, yesterday he also sued his adopted father & Cash Money boss, Birdman for Million.
According to TMZ who got their hands on the court documents, Lil Wayne says Birdman and his company violated his record deal by withholding tens of millions of dollars Cash Money owes him for his long-delayed album, Tha Carter V. Wayne claims he was supposed to receive an million advance when he began recording the album in December 2013 and another million when he completed the album a year later, but so far he has not received a dime.

He says because Cash Money is refusing to pay the money, he’s well within his rights to leave the label and he has suing them for MILLION.
